According to an official press release of July 9, 2013, the Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus has signed a framework agreement with the government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh which stipulates the conditions for export financing contracts for the supply of Belarusian goods and services. The press release explicitely mentions Belarussian manufactures as one potential beneficiary.
 
This bank's initiative should be viewed in connection withResolution Nr. 560 of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus from 28 June 2013. In this resolution, the Council set the general conditions for the compensation from the state budget of the Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus with regard to the export credit it provides to Belarusian companies (GTA measure 5043 provided below). According to this resolution, the export-related risks of the bank's loans are insured by the state.
