Import ban

On 4 July 2022, the Prime Minister of Australia announced that Australia will prohibit the imports of Russian gold. The PM said the intent of the prohibition is to reduce Russia's ability to fund the country's invasion of Ukraine.

The Minister has also announced duty-free access for Ukrainian imports to Australia (see related intervention)
