Description

On 5 June 2010, the government lowered import tariffs on certain medicines. From that date imports of pharmaceuticals such as Protacine, Celecoxib, Sodium Casinate and Activated Glucuronate are subject to a reduced tariff of 5 percent.

From 6 January 2010, the government of Pakistan has exempted cotton yarn from import tariffs. Under the new regulation, cotton yarn that is not put up for retail sale may be imported free of duties.
