Morocco: Decrease in import tariffs on corn, except those from the USA
Description
Import tariffs on corn originating from areas other than the United States of America (USA) have been reduced to 10%. In January 2010, the tariffs on corn imported from areas excluding the USA were increased to 17%.
Morocco: Increase in tariffs on wheat imports
Description
Imports tariffs on soft wheat have been increased by 90% to 135% from June to December 2010.
Morocco: New tariffs for barley and corn imports, except those from the USA
Description
The state grains agency, Office National Interprofessionnel des Cereales et des Legumineuses (ONICL), announced that the tariffs on barley and corn imports are 35% and 17% respectively. Imports of these grains from the USA are exempted.

Description
Morocco's state grains agency, Office National Interprofessionnel des Cereales et des Legumineuses (ONICL) has announced the reduction of wheat import tariffs to 90% and from 90% to 80% for durum wheat.
Morocco: Extension of tax breaks for listed firms
Description
Firms listed on the Casablanca stock exchange were granted extended tax breaks for the period 2010 - 2012. This is to encourage more firms to list on the exchange. The listed firms will therefore pay 50% less tax.
