Description

On 28 February  2013, the Malaysian Minister for International Trade and Industry, Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamed, announced a reduction of import duties on cars from Japan and Australia. The duty will gradually decrease from 30% to 0% in 2016.

On 12 October 2012 , the Malaysian government decided to decrease the CPO (crude palm oil) export tax from 23% to 4.5% - 8.5%. This is mainly a reaction to the Indonesian export tax reduction in 2011.
