Import tariff quota

On November 30, 2017, the Brazilian Foreign Trade Council (Camex) issued Resolution No. 89 introducing temporarily tariff-rate quotas on vaccines against the Papillomavirus (NCM 3002.20.29) and against diphtheria, tetanus, and pertussis (NCM 3002.20.27). The import duty was reduced from 2% to 0% for a quota of 6,000,000 and 5,000,000 doses respectively for a period of twelve months. The out-of-quota tariff remains unchanged.

In the same resolution, the import tariff quota set on vaccines against Hepatitis A was extended for 6 months (see related state acts).
