Biography:

Samir Pradhan is Senior Researcher, GCC Economics Program, at the Gulf Research Center (GRC), Dubai. He is a trained economist and obtained his M.Phil. and Ph.D. degrees from the School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India. His main research interests include sectoral analysis of GCC economies, regional trade integration, WTO issues, Gulf-Asia economic interdependence, and energy security in the context of international relations. Dr. Pradhan has several peer reviewed publications to his credit.
