The Swiss Institute for International Economics and Applied Economic Research (SIAW) is a research institute at the University of St. Gallen. It undertakes research and projects relevant to economic policy and policymaking, including international economic relations, competition law, environmental policy, the reform of tax and social security systems and direct democracy.
