Uzbekistan: Import tariff increase on paints and varnishes
Description
From 1 September 2009, a specific import duty wass introduced by the Uzbek government on certain paints and varnishes (HS 3208, 3209, 3210) at 0.5 US dollars per kilo.
At the same time, the ad valorem duty of 30 percent is applied on imports in these tariff lines.
