United States of America: Trade preferences for South Sudan and Haiti

Description

In Presidential Proclamation 8788 of March 26, 2012 President Obama designated South Sudan as a beneficiary country and also as a least-developed developing country under the Generalized System of Preferences. The same proclamation also extends until September 30, 2020 the duty-free treatment of qualifying apparel products produced in Haiti under the Caribbean Basin Economic Recovery Act.
