Measure #3009 | Published 2 Jan 2012

Description

Based on a petition filed by the Whirlpool Corporation on December 30, 2011, the U.S. International Trade Commission is expected soon to institute an antidumping (AD) investigation of residential washing machines imported from South Korea and Mexico.
The commission has reached an affirmative determination in its preliminary injury investigation for February 10. 2012; see http://www.usitc.gov/press_room/news_release/2012/er0210kk3.htm. The case now moves to the U.S. Department of Commerce for its preliminary dumping and subsidy determinations.
