Sri Lanka: Increased special levy on potatoes

Description

Effective 10 September 2010, the government of Sri Lanka increased the special levy on potato imports. Under the new regulation, imports of potatoes are subject to a levy of Rs. 30/kg up from Rs.20/kg.
 
The original surcharge had been put in place only on 27 August 2010.
