Saudi Arabia: Re-imposition of import tariff on steel

Description

On 1 January 2010, the government of Saudi Arabia has re-imposed an import tariff on steel. From that date, imports of steel are subject to an ad valorem tariff of 5 percent.
 
Imports from the GCC member states are exempt from the duty.
