Russia: Subsidies to the domestic aircraft sector
Description
By Government Decree N 690 from 20 August 2009 Russian airlines received ¾ compensation of their lease payments for Russian aircraft and ¾ of their interest payments on credits in rubles, obtained in 2002-2005 for purchasing Russian aircraft.
