Russia: Restrictions on customs clearance points for exports of metal scrap

Description

The Federal Customs Service issued an Order # 1514 from 2 December 2008, in force from 30 March 2009, which restricts customs clearance points for exports of metal scrap. A justification for limiting the customs clearance points for exports of scrap is based on request from Russian metallurgical industry, which was in a shortage of raw materials.
