Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin signed a ruling (Government Decree #1466-p issued 8 October 2009) to inject 3 billion rubles (67 million Euro) into Russian titanium producer VSMPO-Avisma.
The ruling is part of the program to develop the aircraft-building sector, the Industry and Trade Minister Viktor Khristenko said.

The company is the world’s largest titanium product producer, with exports accounting for 80% of its sales. The world’s largest aircraft-building companies are the key customers of VSMPO-Avisma.
