Russia: Elimination of export duties on fertilizers.

Description

Since February 1, 2009 export customs duties on nitrogenous fertilizers (3102) and on complex fertilizers (3105) have been fixed at the rate 0% of customs value compared to 8.5% of customs value before. (Russian Government resolution №65, January 27, 2009).
 
Fertilizers constitute 2,5% of Russian exports in 2008 and are on the 3rd place in ranking after mineral fuels (65,7%) and steel (6,1%). (UNComtrade database)
