Republic of Korea: Tariff reductions on "green goods"

Description

 From 23 September 2009 the Ministry of Strategy and Finance offered 50 percent tariff cuts on 31 products "used to produce or use new & renewable energy," 21 solar energy products, seven wind power products, one type of hydrogen fuel cell and two products that use geothermal energy. The tariff reduction in 2009, like its more limited predecessor in 2008, is to "support green growth related industries...."
