Philippines: Repeated extension of import duty suspension for portland cement and cement clinker

Description

On 19 February 2010, the government of the Philippines renewed the exemption of portland cement and cement clinker from import duties. The government thus prolonged a temporary duty reduction initially granted in November 2008.
 
Prior to the change the applied tariff had been 5 percent.
