Philippines: Import duty exemption for cold- and hot-rolled coils of iron and steel
Description
On 22 June 2010, the government of the Philippines exempted imports of cold- and hot-rolled coils of iron and steel from import tariffs. The measure became effective in the middle of July.
Tariffs will be increased to 7 percent once the Board of Investments determines local production has been sustained.
