Peru: Elimination of antidumping duties applicable to flat-rolled products of iron or non-alloy steel from Romania and Ukraine.
Description
On February 7, 2011, the Peruvian Government eliminated the antidumping duties applicable to imports of flat-rolled products of iron or non-alloy steel from Romania and Ukraine, classified under the following tariff codes of Peru’s Harmonized System: 7208.25.20.00, 7208.37.00.00, 7208.26.00.00, 7208.38.00.00, 7208.27.00.00, 7208.39.00.00, 7208.51.10.00, 7208.51.20.00, 7208.52.00.00, 7208.53.00.00, 7208.54.00.00 and 7209.27.00.00.
The antidumping duties of up to 56.09% applicable to the Russian product and 59.45% for the Ukrainian were originally adopted on December 7 and 8 of 1999, after Empresa Siderúrgica del Perú S.A.A. requested an investigation.
