Pakistan: Import tariff increase on synthetic filament yarn
Description
Effective 1 July 2010, the customs authority of Pakistan repealed the reduced import tariff rate for certain textured yarn products. Imports that fall into this category are now subject to an import levy of 10 percent.
Since June 2006, the import tariff had been set to 7 percent.
