Kazakhstan: Increase of the oil products export tariff
Description
The Kazakhstan government has decided to raise the oil products export tariff.
Export tariff for gasoline will be increased to 82.96 U.S. Dollars per tonne. The black oil tariff will rise to 55.31 dollars per tonne, according to a government decision. Crude oil export remains tax-free.
The new tariff will be put into effect 30 days after the announcement.
Kazakhstan introduced petroleum and oil products export tax on May 17, 2008. The tariff on crude oil exports was canceled on January 26, 2009.
