Indonesia: Temporary removal of import duty on rice

Description

On 22 December 2010, the government of Indonesia announced a temporary removal of import duties on rice (HS Code 1006.30.90). From that day until 31 March 2011, rice falling under the specified tariff line may be imported free of charge.
 
On 1 April 2011, the initial import duty of 450Rp/kg shall be re-imposed.
