Indonesia: Initiation of safeguard investigation on wire of iron / non-alloy steel
Description
On January 19, 2010, the government of Indonesia has initiatied a safeguard investigation on the imports of Wire of iron / non-alloy steel, not plated / coated, containing carbon < 0.25 per cent by weight. (HS Code 7217)
On April 10, 2011, the indonesian government decided to impose the following safeguard measure for the period of three years.
Period: Specific Duty:
23 March 2011 – 22 March 2012 Rp. 7,767/Kg
23 March 2012 – 22 March 2013 Rp. 7,216/Kg
23 March 2013 – 22 March 2014 Rp. 6,665/Kg
Some developing countries were excluded from this measure.
