Indonesia: Initiation of safeguard investigation on the imports of Stranded Wire, Ropes and Cables
Description
On April 30, 2010 the government of Indonesia has initiated a safeguard investigation on the imports of Stranded Wire, Ropes and Cables under HS Code 7312
On April 11, 2011 the following safeguard measures were implemented:
Duty of: Rp. 24,080/Kg from 23 March 2011- 22 March 2012
Rp. 21,464/Kg from 23 March 2012 - 22 March 2013
Rp. 18,849/Kg from 23 March 2013 - 22 March 2014
The measure shall not be applied against the subject good originating from developing countries with a market share of less than 3 percents of total volume imports. (Reference: WTO G/SG/N/10/IDN/5)
