Indonesia: Initiation of safeguard investigation on the imports of Dextrose Monohydrate (DMH)

Description

 
On May 14, 2008, the Republic of Indonesia initiated a safeguard investigation on the imports of Dextrose Monohydrate (DMH) under HS Code 1702.
 
On August 24, 2009, the following safeguard measures were implemented for three years:
Year I: Fixed Duty of IDR 2,700 / kg
Year II: Fixed Duty of IDR 2,400 / kg
Year III: Fixed Duty of IDR 2100 / kg
 
Several Developing Countries were excluded from the measure as they exported less than 3 per cent of total import to Indonesia. (Reference: G/SG/N/10/IDN/2)
