Indonesia: Increased import tariffs on medicines, cosmetics and energy efficient lights
Description
The ministry of Commerce issued Regulation No. 23/M-DAG/PER/5/2010, amending Regulation No. 56/M-DAG/PER/12/2008 (see http://www.globaltradealert.org/measure/indonesia-additional-requirement...). The new regulation adds traditional and herbal medicines, cosmetics and energy efficient lights to the group of products that are subject to special import requirements (e.g. pre-shipment inspection). The regulation also increases import tariffs on the same products.
This measure is effective between 21 June 2010 and 31 December 2010.
