India: Removal of export ban on organic non-Basmati rice

Measure #1668 | Published 19 Aug 2010 ▲

Description

On 9 September 2011, the government of India has lifted a ban on exports of non-Basmati rice (notification 71/2010).

The regulation removes a ban that has initially been imposed in 2007, but has repeatedly been amended for the export of specified quotas of non-Basmati rice.

In order to determine the trading partners, the 2006 data were used, since there was an export ban form 2007-2011.
