Description
On May 18, 2009 India intiated antidumping investigation on Circular Weaving Machines (having six or more shuttles for weaving PP/HDPE Fabrics of a width exceeding 30 cms) originating in China.
On April 12, 2010 provisional duties of 22.08 percent were imposed.
On February 16, 2011 the Designated Authority of the Government of India published its preliminary findings of antidumping investigations on imports of Circular Weaving Machines having six or more shuttles for weaving PP/HDPE Fabrics of a width exceeding 30 cms. originating in or exported from China PR. The duty imposed is US$ 1193 per machine.
