India: Final antidumping duty on viscose staple fibre excluding bamboo fibre from China and Indonesia
Description
On March 19, 2009 India intitiated antidumping investigation on Viscose Staple Fibre excluding Bamboo Fibre from China and Indonesia. According to Antidumpingpublishing.com the Indian Designated Authority recommended imposition of provisional anti-dumping duties on imports of Viscose Filament Yarn from China and Indonesia in August 2009. However, none was imposed.
On 26 May 2010, India imposed an Anti-dumping duty on Viscose Staple Fibres (excluding Bamboo Fibres) originating in or exported from China and Indonesia. In order to remove the injury to the domestic industry, an AD in the range of $0.103 per kg to $0.512 per kg was imposed.
