Ecuador: Temporary elimination of import tariffs on wheat, meslin and flour made thereof

Description

On 2 September 2009, the government of Ecuador adopted a temporary tariff reduction for wheat, meslin and flour made thereof. Under the new regime 4 tariff lines (HS code 10-digit level) will be exempted from import tariffs for a period of 12 months. The tariff reductions was implemented on 20 October 2009.
 
In a subsequent decision on 29 June 2010, the government extended the temporary tariff change for another 12 months.
