Description

On October 13th 2010, through its Secretary of Foreign Trade (SECEX), Brazil made public its decision to terminate, without the application o antidumping duties,  the  antidumping and injury investigation on imports from China of hand tools, incl. glaziers'' diamonds, of base metal, n.e.s.
This product is classified under item 8205 59 00 of Mercosur Common Nomenclature (NCM) tariff code.
 
Initiation:
On December 24th, 2009 (re publication on December 30th, 2009) Brazil through its secretary of foreign trade (SECEX) made public its decision to initiate an anti-dumping and injury investigation on imports from China of hand tools, incl. glaziers'' diamonds, of base metal, n.e.s..This product is classified under item 8205 59 00 of  Mercosur Common Nomenclature (NCM) tariff code.
It must be noted that the product under investigation has a narrower description than the one which pertains to item 8205 99 00 under the HS classification.

The Decision to terminate the investigation without the application of antidumping duties was taken on the basis of the lack of elements of proof of injury, according to the Investigation Process Nº MDIC/SECEX 52100.005760/2009-25.
