Brazil: Temporary import tariff reduction on 542 capital goods

Description

On December 14th 2010, the Brazilian government announced tariff reduction on the ad-valorem import duty to 2% for 226 capital goods and extended the validity of the tariff reduction to 2% for 316 products classified under the chapters 39, 82, 84, 85, 86, 89 e 90  of Mercosur Common Nomenclature (NCM) tariff code.
 
The stated measure will expire on 30 June 2012.
