Description

On February 18, 2011, the Government of Brazil announced the temporary amendment of the Most Favored Nation (MFN) import duties applicable to certain amino-resins, articles of apparel, molds for rubber or plastics and trailers and semi-trailers.
MERCOSUR’s legislation allows member states —Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay— to exempt, on a temporary basis, up to 100 goods from the application of the common external tariff. The list of goods may be amended every six months.
