Brazil: tariff reduction for the aircraft sector

Description

On August 5th, 2010, the Brazilian government announced tariff reduction on the ad-valorem import duty to 0% for several products of the aircraft sector, i.e., aircraft, aircraft flight training, parts and accessories for the manufacture, repair, maintenance, alteration, modification or manufacture of aircraft. These products are classified under the 8-digit code of the Mercosur Common Nomenclature (NCM) and are listed in CAMEX Resolution nº 55, from August 5th, 2010 (http://www.mdic.gov.br/arquivos/dwnl_1281115825.pdf).
