Description

On November 23rd 2010, through its Secretary of Foreign Trade (SECEX), Brazil made public its decision to initiate an antidumping investigation on the imports of plates, sheets, film, foil and strip of poly (ethylene terephthalate) from United Arab Emirates, Turkey and Mexico.
 
This product is classified under the codes 3920.62.19, 3920.62.91 e 3920.62.99 of  Mercosur Common Nomenclature (NCM).

The Decision to initiate the antidumping investigation was taken on the basis of the elements of proof and analysis contained in the Technical Report of SECEX No 19, of September 20th 2010, prepared by the Commercial Defense Department (DECOM) from SECEX, Investigation Process Nº MDIC/SECEX 52000.004266/2010-13. It was decided that the Report contained sufficient evidence to prove the existence of dumping, injury and causal link.
