Description

On October 5th 2010, the Brazilian government established a temporary quota of 30,000 tons for sardines, sardinella, brisling or sprats imports. This product is classified under the 8-digit code 0303.71.00 of the Mercosur Common Nomenclature (NCM).
 
The potentially affected jurisdictions have been identified as the exporting countries from which Brazil imported the 8-digit code product in 2009. These countries are
Spain, United States, Morrocco, Peru and Portugal (Aliceweb/MDIC).
