Brazil: Amendment of MFN import duties applicable to certain types of fruit preparations.
Description
On March 16, 2011, the Government of Brazil published a decree that increases the Most Favored Nation (MFN) import duties applicable to certain type of fruit preparations.
In particular, this Resolution increases to 35% the MFN duties applicable to goods classified under the following tariff lines of the MERCOSUR’s Harmonized System: 2008.70.10 and 2008.70.90.
These amendments will enter into force on April 1st, 2011.
