Australia: Termination of antidumping investigation against Canada and USA on linear low density polyethylene
Description
On May 28, 2009 Australia initiated an antidumping investigation on linear low density polyethylene originating in Canada and USA. The initiation was announced in Australian Customs Dumping Notice No. 2009-12. The investigation was initiated following request from Qenos Pty Ltd.
On November 25, 2009 the Australian Customs and Border Protection Service issued a notice No. 2009/41 terminating the investigation without imposing any measures stating that "the injury, if any, to the Australian industry, or the hindrance to the establishment of an Australian industry, that has been, or may be, caused by that dumping is negligible".
