Argentina: Reference prices on imports of woven fabrics of acrylic or modacrylic staple fibers from certain Asian countries.
Description
On May 16, 2011, the Government of Argentina adopted reference prices applicable to the importation of certain woven fabrics of acrylic or modacrylic staple fibers from China, Malaysia, and other Asian countries.
In accordance with Argentinean legislation, once a reference price is established, when a good subject to such prices is imported at a lower cost, the importer shall guarantee the difference between the reference price and the value declared at customs.
The product subject to this measure is classified under the following tariff line of MERCOSUR’s Harmonized System: 5515.21.00.
These reference prices entered into force on May 16, 2011.
