Argentina: Reference prices on imports of certain type of flat-rolled products of stainless steel from diverse Asian countries.
On May 11, 2012, the Government of Argentina adopted reference prices applicable to the importation of certain type of flat-rolled products of stainless steel from Taiwan and other Asian countries.
In accordance with the Argentinean legislation, when a good subject to a reference price is imported at a lower cost, the importer shall guarantee the difference between the reference price and the value declared at customs.
The products subject to this measure are classified under the following tariff lines of the MERCOSUR’s Harmonized System: 7219.21.00, 7219.22.00, 7219.23.00, 7219.24.00, 7219.31.00, 7219.32.00, 7219.33.00, 7219.34.00 and 7219.35.00
These reference prices entered into force on May 15, 2012.
