Argentina: Reference prices on imports of certain type of embroidery in the piece, in strips or in motifs from China and other countries.
Description
On May 11, 2012, the Government of Argentina adopted reference prices applicable to the importation of certain type of embroidery in the piece, in strips or in motifs from China and other Asian countries.
In accordance with the Argentinean legislation, when a good subject to a reference price is imported at a lower cost, the importer shall guarantee the difference between the reference price and the value declared at customs.
The products subject to this measure are classified under the following tariff lines of the MERCOSUR’s Harmonized System: 5810.10.00, 5810.91.00, 5810.92.00 and 5810.99.00.
These reference prices will enter into force on May 15, 2012.
