Argentina: Reference prices on imports of certain articles of polymers of vinyl chloride from Asian, European and Latin-American countries.
Description
On February 17, 2011, the Government of Argentina adopted reference prices applicable to the importation of certain articles of polymers of vinyl chloride from Brazil, China, Germany, and other Asian, European and Latin-American countries.
In accordance with Argentinean legislation, once a reference price is established, when a good subject to such prices is imported at a lower cost, the importer shall guarantee the difference between the reference price and the value declared at customs.
The product subject to this measure is classified under the following tariff line of MERCOSUR’s Harmonized System: 3916.20.00.
These reference prices entered into force on February 17, 2011.
