Argentina: Final antidumping duties imposed on recordable compact discs from Paraguay

Description

On March 25, 2009 Argentina initiated antidumping investigation on recordable compact discs from Paraguay. Investigation was initiated following request from Camara Argentina de Fabricantes de Medios Magneticos y Opticos (Cafmo). 
 
On September 24, 2009 the government of Argentina imposed a preliminary antidumping duty by means of Resolution No. 393/2009. The duty takes the form of a minimum FOB export price which amounts to 0.25 USD per piece and was imposed for a period of 4 months.
 
On September 30, 2010 the Government of Argentina announced the completion of an antidumping investigation on recordable compact discs from Paraguay. As a result antidumping duties taking the form of minimum FOB export price 0.25 USD were imposed. The measure will be in force for two years as of its issuance.
