Argentina: Export registration requirements
Description
Under the provisions of the Resolution 3433/2008 of August 27, 2008 the government of Argentina requires that all exports are registered and the government has the authority to decide on rejecting or delaying export transactions depending on the domestic price and supply conditions. Such restrictions were previously used for export of wheat, corn, beef and dairy products. The Resolution 7552/2009 extended the registrations to all products as of November 2009, introduced mandatory domestic supply levels for corn and wheat, but when these exist, export restrictions are removed for these products.
