Argentina: Adoption of antidumping duties against certain type of apparel products from China.
Description
On January 3, 2012, the Government of Argentina adopted antidumping duties against men's or boys' suits, ensembles, suit-type jackets, blazers, trousers, bib and brace overalls, breeches and shorts (other than swimwear) from China. The measure consists of a minimum import price of 88.50 dollars per unit for all Chinese enterprises.
The antidumping investigation initiated on February 12, 2010, upon request of the Argentinean Industrial Chamber of Apparel.
The products subject to the antidumping duties are classified under the following tariff items of the MERCOSUR Harmonized System: 6203.11.00, 6203.12.00, 6203.19.00, 6203.22.00, 6203.23.00, 6203.29.10, 6203.29.90, 6203.31.00, 6203.32.00, 6203.33.00, and 6203.39.00.
